Join the U.S. Army’s Online and Social Media Division for a bloggers roundtable on Thursday, February 23 at 10 a.m. ET featuring Sergeant Major of the Army, Raymond F. Chandler III as he discusses and takes your questions about the Army Profession.
The Army Profession has two components, the Profession of Arms consisting of the uniformed military, and the Army Civilian Corps. These two necessary components work together to design, generate, support and apply land combat power. Professions have a number of characteristics that set them apart from other categories of work. The United States Army is unique from other professions as defined by six essential characteristics which are built upon the moral and legal foundation of American values, the Constitution, and governing statutes. For more information about the Army Profession, visit the Center for the Army Profession and Ethic (CAPE).
If you are interested in participating in this discussion, please R.S.V.P. to Ashley McCall-Washington, email@example.com, no later than Wednesday, February 22.
Not able to participate, but have questions? Leave them in the comments section and check back later this week for answers.
