The Countdown is On-Army/Navy Game 2011

Before either World Wars, before the first man walked on the moon and before the fall of the Berlin Wall, the greatest football rivalry was born-The Army/Navy Game.

Since its origination in 1890, the Army/Navy football game is one of the longest standing rivalries in the history of college football. It’s tradition stands at over 100 years of intense, yet sportsmanlike battles.

The first game was held on November 20, 1890 at the United States Military Academy (better know as West Point). Over 500 people attended the game, where the United States Naval Academy won 24-0.  Since then, the game has been played every year (with the except of ten).

This year, we want to show our Go Army/Beat Navy spirit more than ever! Send us a link to your BEST “Go Army” Spirit Video for a chance to have your video featured on the Army’s official YouTube channel!
