The Star-spangled banner is my favorite patriotic song. My LEAST favorite patriotic song is “America, America” (the one that starts out “OH, Beautiful”). For some reason, my mother has never been able to remember lyrics to songs, but she is an elementary school teacher and needs to teach songs to her children. The best way she could even try to remember a song was through repetition, but this meant that the week she tried to teach her students a song, she made me sing the song to her over and over again, no matter where we were – dry cleaners, grocery store, etc. As you may have guessed, the song I had to embaressingly sing the most of, constantly, was “America, America.”
Hi, I was just wondering how I can get a song posted on this site or if I can even do that? I am a Veteran and my brother has a song on youtube that he has dedicated to the Soldiers, Veterans and their families. All the earnings that he makes off of this song will be earmarked for the Veterans Homes. Philip was recently signed with a large promotions firm in Nashville and close to 2000 press kits went out in the past two weeks nationally to radio stations.
