Yesterday on Facebook we asked folks to check out the U.S. Army’s Professional writing page, where a number of articles from Soldiers, civilians, academics and others are available. Included in this month’s selection are a number that raise the topic of Afghanistan, one even saying “Afghanistan Doesn’t Matter.” They represent the lively professional debate in and among the Army and other policy makers, and the articles present timely topics and challenging questions for our leadership.
I’d love to hear your thoughts – from those who have deployed to the region, those who have reviewed the professional writings or those following the debates.
For other information and updates from Afghanistan, check out the Combined Joint Task Force-82, where the above photo is from. Their official Web site is www.cjtf82.com, but they’re also on Facebook at www.facebook.com/CJTF82, and You Tube at www.youtube.com/CJTF82Afghanistan.
